*We require a minimum of 5 students in ALL Hebrew mid-week classes. If we have less than 5 students, we reserve the right to move students into classes to reach the viable number required.
Midweek Hebrew Small Groups & Private Tutoring - Filling Out This Form
- Preferred choice: indicates the best option for your family - Possible choice: indicates that a session will work for your family - Not possible: indicates that the session absolutely will not work for your family - Private Tutoring: indicates your preference for one-on-one private tutoring on Monday or Thursday
3rd through 6th Grades Midweek Hebrew Class Information We are offer students two options for 3rd-6th grades Hebrew learning: Small Group classes or Private Tutoring (at an extra cost). Small Group Sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday include a 55-minute Hebrew lesson and 30-minute Tefilah (prayer) experience. Inclusion: To assist us with making sure your child gest the assistance they need, we request that you share any information that will help us accommodate your child on this form. If there have been any modifications in your child’s learning from previous years, please let us know. If you wish to have a confidential discussion with Moshe, please feel free email him so that your child receives assistance. Please note, sessions are filled on a first come, first serve basis (based on which Hebrew Small Group Preference Forms AND Registration Forms we have received). We do expect that popular times will fill up this year. If you need to update your choices after you have submitted this form, you can do so by e-mailing us at rsoffice@cbtpotomac.org. We may start wait lists for popular times, but this is not a guarantee that we will be able to make the switch if a class is full. Deadline for Small Group choices is August 15, 2024. We will be making the small groups and private tutoring assignments in mid-late August. Students who are new to the school in grades 4 and up, parents will have a conversation with the Religious School Director, Moshe Ben-Lev, about optimal placement for their child(ren) and possible in person meeting to ascertain current Hebrew reading level.
