The Great Challah Bake

Discover the beauty of this tradition unique to Jewish women for generations, learn the secret to great tasting challah and experiment with different braiding techniques before baking your own challah to bring home. While we enjoy the smells fo delicious challah in the oven we'll learn how to make Shabbat whether we're a host or a guest.

Shabbat Torah Study
Shabbat, May 4th 12:30p to 1:30p
These brief and informal study sessions generally are lay-led and are held on the first Shabbat of each month, excluding the summer, approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of services. The topic each month is the Parashat for the following week. During the study sessions, everyone has a chance to weigh in and express their views on moral, ethical and societal issues. Those attending enjoy the comradery, passion and enthusiasm of their fellow Torah students.
