The Mitzvah of Tzedakah on the High Holidays
It is a time-honored tradition to give tzedekah on the holidays. We have a number of additional expenses associated with the holiday – extra staff hours, extra security costs, food for the children’s programs, break-fast, snacks and apples and honey, and flowers for the bema. Your donation, which will be recognized in the Scroll, will help us greatly. If you choose to do so, we encourage you to let your children know, so they learn the importance of this value and tradition.
