Get ready to celebrate Chanukah with your CBT family. Stop by the synagogue to get your holiday bag, scan the QR code for Cantor Kapell’s holiday playlist, add our events to your calendar and make sure to register for our Sunday, December 13 outdoor menorah lighting event (with latkes, sufganiyot and the Brooklyn Sandwich food truck.)

Kehilla Chanukah Bonanza for Religious School and all CBT children - 10:15am -12:15 PM
for Kindergarten – 7th grades – Joint candle lighting with friends in Israel via Zoom, followed by special Chanukah chugim and by special request, Bible Players Chanukah Show.
NES GADOL AT CBT – OUTDOOR CHANUKAH CELEBRATION
4:00 – 5:00 PM
Bundle up for this outdoor event in our CBT parking lot. We’ll light the menorah, join Cantor Kapell in a holiday sing-along and hear about Chanukah in Israel from Talia. You can pre-order kosher sandwiches, latkes, sufganiyot from the Brooklyn Sandwich Co. and more on our website or purchase food on site. FOR MORE INFORMATION AND TO REGISTER!
SOCIAL ACTION PROJECTS - bring ITEMS to the event:
VASE COLLECTION: PetalShare (www.petalshare.org), is a wonderful organization that re-arranges and delivers floral arrangements from weddings, b’nai mitzvah and other simchas to first responders, hospital patients and nursing homes. They need donated vases.
COAT DRIVE: Winter coats in good condition are needed by area organizations that support at-risk populations.

Open to all CBT teens in grades 7-12. Join us for a JNF virtual trip to Mod’in Israel, where the Chanukah story took place followed by Chanukah Zoom lounge with lots of schmoozing, games, and activities.
