The youth department strives to engage CBT’s youth and teens through a variety of activities and initiatives designed to reinforce Jewish identity and encourage a lifelong connection to synagogue life and the wider Jewish community. Parents are also strongly encouraged to communicate with the Youth Director to help maximize the youth group experience for all. CBTeens Grades 9-12
CBT's high school youth group inspires lasting friendships, leadership development, and thoughtful exploration of Jewish identity that will hopefully carry over into post high school years. A wide variety of programs are both fun and meaningful from social, Israel, and holiday events to preparing for college life. We encourage our teens to participate in regional USY (United Synagogue Youth) and BBYO (B'nai B'rith Youth Organization) activities. More information can be found at seaboardusy.org and bbyo.org.
We stay connected with our college students by sending holiday and study packages as well as communications from the Rabbi to keep them in touch with our community throughout the year.
