4:30 PM - 5:30 PMhttps://zoom.us/j/9268946376?pwd=NXltS0dZOHFoa1dGb29jaGJYWE05QT09Climate change can feel overwhelming and difficult to understand. This presentation by Karen Lowe uses an interactive data simulation program to give insights and help people see connections, play out scenarios, and see what works to address climate change, inequity, and related issues like energy, health, and food.
After using these simulations people understand, at a deep level, which policies and strategies are more likely to make a big impact. When people ask customized “What If” questions and get immediate answers, they build their capacity to act on their insights. These simulations help people see the whole picture and watch it play out over the long-term.
These visual tools were developed by Climate Interactive, an independent, not-for-profit think-tank that grew out of MIT Sloan in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
