Jane earned a Masters Degree from Towson University in Early Childhood Education & Special Education. She also earned a BA from GWU in Art History and Fine Arts. Jane has three sons ranging from age 14 to 20, all of whom attended preschool at Bnai Tzedek. When not working with children, Jane loves spending time with her family, traveling and the Jersey shore!
This will be Julie's first year teaching at the GECC, after working for many years with children. She previously taught at the JCC Rockville, and she also taught at the Sidwell Friends School Early Childhood Learning Center while in college. After a recent trip to Israel, Julie is very excited to share her experience, and reignited passion for Judaism. Julie grew up in Potomac and as a congregant of B'nai Tzedek and is excited to join the community on a professional level. She is looking forward to a great year in the Doobim class!
Meena has been a preschool teacher for many years. She started working at the GECC as an assistant teacher in the Pre-K class. Then she worked with different age groups. In the past two years, Meena worked as an assistant teacher in the Doobim class with Ms. Jane. She has a degree in history and physiology. Meena has two girls who both got married this past summer.
