Congregation B’nai Tzedek serves as a center for Jewish education and quality family programming. Beginning with our youngest members, the Laura & Joel Greenzaid Early Childhood Center begins programming for 15 month olds and their mothers in our Play and Learn. Two through five year olds have a variety of programming, including a highly acclaimed Hebrew Immersion program.
The Bernice Rabovsky Religious School provides the natural continuation in the flow of Jewish education. Our kindergarteners through second graders attend on Sunday mornings and delve into Shabbat, holidays, traditions and prayer. Our third through seventh graders attend twice a week on Sunday and either Monday or Wednesday afternoons. The children learn to read and write Hebrew, study Tanach, Midrash and Prayer. Our Wednesday evening Upper School program and Confirmation Class offer the post B'nai Mitzvah students a way to continue in their journey in Jewish education.
At Congregation B'nai Tzedek, Jewish Family Life Education is an integral part of our school program. We have well designed programs that bring parents and students together to study, explore and experience Judaism in a supportive and friendly synagogue environment. We help Jewish families to retrieve, create and retain Jewish memories.
To continue one's Jewish education as an adult is extremely important. It sets an example for our children to follow. As adults we must not only tell our children, but have them learn by our example. Bringing Jewish traditions into the home and understanding why we do them is one of the hallmarks of our congregation. We offer a wide array of outstanding and stimulating adult education programs.
