Community | Sisterhood Overview
Dear Sisterhood Members:
Sisterhood provides members with a unique opportunity to get involved and make a difference in the many aspects of synagogue life. As a group we work together to support our synagogue, the community and each other. We strive to develop leadership and encourage the performance of mitzvot within our congregation and the community at large.
Sisterhood is a place for women to establish new friendships as we seek to promote awareness of the Jewish values, traditions and education that enable us to enrich our lives and those of our families. We organize and sponsor programs, which provide both educational and social outlets to our members. Equally as important is the Sisterhood’s role in acknowledging life-cycle events within our congregational family, as well as coordinating, preparing and serving the delicious weekly Shabbat kiddushim.
We invite all female members of the congregation to join Sisterhood. Annual dues are $36, with new members to the synagogue receiving a complimentary Sisterhood membership for the first year. We are a diverse group and you are bound to feel right at home. We are committed to developing programs that will interest women of all ages.
